According to this article the Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) theme park in Malaysia closed on January 28th, and will remain closed until further notice. The closure does not seem to have anything to do with the possible spread of the Coronavirus, but instead seems to be financial in nature.

A wave of big changes may be about to arrive at Walt Disney World in the next few weeks. For starters the next annual price increase for admission to the Walt Disney World theme parks is expected to take place sometime in the next 2-3 weeks, possibly as early as Feb. 1st, so if you were planning on buying tickets in advance, do it sooner than later to take advantage of the current lower pricing.
The other rumored big changes may have a lot to do with Disney current FastPass+ system. We know some charges are already taking place over at the Hollywood studios in terms of the attractions available for Tier 1 and Tier 2 reservations, along with adding Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run to the system on Feb. 19, but other more significant changes could be afoot.
One rumor says, Disney knows the current FP+ system is a bit of a mess, with too many advanced reservations taking place, making it impossible to even get FP+ reservations for the most popular attractions, even years after they have opened, such as the case with the Pandora area attractions. I’ve also wondered about the new systems Disney has been testing out with the Galaxy’s Edge attractions, having guests clumped together into Boarding Groups, and not allowing that system to be accessed until guests are actually on-site within the theme park itself. Logic would dictate that Disney may be testing out future concepts that could possibly be rolled out as a replacement for the current FastPass+ system.
The other big rumor, and this one is gaining more and more steam behind it, is that we may see Walt Disney World launch their own version of the MaxPass system as early as February. MaxPass was launched at Disneyland a couple of years ago as “paid” version of the FastPass concept. Guests can still get free FastPass access, but they can pay extra to have several more added to their accounts for the day.
Again, these are all rumors right now, but something to definitely keep your eyes open for as it is only a matter of time before a PAID FastPass program is added to Walt Disney World as they have already been rolled out at most other Disney owned parks around the globe. This includes the previously mentioned MaxPass at Disneyland, the Disney Premier Access pass program at Shanghai Disneyland and and a couple of paid tier programs in effect at Disneyland Paris under names like Super FastPass and Ultimate FastPass.

As expected, following the closure of Shanghai Disneyland, both Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park in Hong Kong were both closed down until further notice as well in an attempt to slow the spread of the Chinese virus outbreak. As a result, it seems that virtually all crowded public attractions (theme parks, movie theaters, etc…) have been closed as a result of the rapidly spreading virus. Even the schools in Hong Kong will remain closed until February 17th, and I believe that virtually all travel to the Wuhan area (the epicenter of the outbreak) has been canceled for the time being.

Amid concerns about the new coronavirus breakout in China, Shanghai Disneyland is now closed until further notice to help prevent the spread of the very contagious virus. This is despite the fact that the park was entering the week long Lunar New Year holiday period that would normally see the park packed to capacity.
Many other attractions have also shut down in an attempt to contain the virus from spreading too quickly in crowded locations. A personal friend of my own just came home from China this week who had been working on an install crew for a new attraction in China. Their company deemed it wise to take precautions and evacuated the entire crew and delayed the opening date of the attraction until they can return to finish. According to comments from my source, most places where large groups gather are now closed in China, including theaters, and the hotel they were staying in had been checking the temperature of everyone who entered the building each day before allowing access, as a high fever is a sign of the virus.
After experiencing these kind of precautions in China, they were surprised to find that no similar precautionary screening procedures were being conducted at all on the passengers of their flight upon returning to the United States. So take that for what you will in the weeks to come as reports begin to trickle in of the virus spreading to the US.

Join us as we head high up into the Californian mountains and make a visit to the world famous Six Flags Magic Mountain
This huge American amusement park is the crown jewels in the Six Flags chain and one of the worlds biggest parks with one of the biggest collection of coasters, some of most famous rides are here including Tatsu, X2, Viper, Superman: Escape from Krypton and new for
2020 West Coast Racers
I was looking forward to getting back to this amazing park but unfortunately it ended up being one of the worst park visits I’ve ever had from slow ride operations, breakdowns,
bigger crowds than expected and being told off by security for using my GoPro Handler as it’s classed as a selfie stick and they are banned......
