In 1983 Camelot Theme Park opened on a site in Lancashire, UK. This medieval theme park featured various different roller coasters, thrill rides and much more along with some of the best themed entertainment in the country. The park closed in 2012, however large parts of the theme park infrastructure still remain in place to this day.
In this video I talk about my memories of visiting Camelot Theme Park along with sharing footage I captured during my final visit to the park. Along with that I share exclusive photos from when I visited Camelot Theme Park along with sharing my thoughts on why I think the park closed!
Check out our video from the demolition of Knightmare via the following link:

Join me as I take you around the stunning Boulevard Hotel at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
This full hotel and room tour just shows how nice this boutique hotel really is with a selection of beautiful rooms to choose from with either a sea or park view and various price options or why not splash out on a suite room located on the top floor
We actually stayed here in 2019 during the hotels soft opening but due to some complications I decided not to upload the room tour but have included some of the room pictures in this video, also the corner room we had last year was beautiful giving better views of the park
https://www.boulevardhotel.co.uk/
If you are interested in staying at the Boulevard Hotel which I highly recommend then please check out their official website for room prices and deals throughout the year.........please note that hotel is available to everyone and not just for park guests

In February 2020 and after 8 years of standing but not operating, Knightmare was demolished at the former Camelot Theme Park that closed back in 2012. The parks signature ride has remained in place since the park closed with many ride enthusiasts hoping for Knightmare to refurbished and sold to another theme park.
On 17th February 2020 we went to the former Camelot Theme Park to take one last look at this huge ride before it was completely demolished. All footage in this video was captured from outside of the park boundaries from a nearby hotel and also from public footpaths.
Check out our playlist of videos we filmed from Camelot Theme Park on our final visit in 2012 - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

While construction on Universal’s new Epic Universe theme park is now confirmed and well known about, there is another interesting secret project that is quietly coming to light. While we’ve all see the initial concept art showing off the four lands connected to a central plaza with a hotel at the back end… would you believe that there is supposedly a second hotel being planned?
Perhaps “hotel” may be a bit inappropriate a word to describe it, because if built this will most definitely fall into a new category… something I’ve chosen to label as “Ultra Themed Resorts”. So what exactly is an Ultra Themed Resort? The world will soon find out when the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opens in 2021, allowing guests to enter a resort with 100% immersion into a living and breathing fictional universe for the duration of their stay.
Disney is banking on the Star Wars theme to carry this concept forward for them, but I’m told that Universal is already planning their own version of the concept… one that will be themed entirely to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. And if it comes to be, it should be located somewhere within the nearby realm of Universal’s Epic Universe theme park.
I wouldn’t expect this to be open at the same time as the new park however, as Universal is likely to keep a careful eye on how things work out for Disney’s Star Wars concept before giving the final green light to go ahead with their own Harry Potter themed concept, but then again Comcast may feel so strongly about the concept that they could opt to just go all in right away. Either way, it should be very interesting to see how this plays out, as while Disney can keep their guests indoors and away from the real world through the story-concept that guests are aboard an interstellar cruise ship, I’m not sure a similar plot device is available here with the Potter IP, though perhaps one may not be needed, depending on the kind of experience being planned. After all the Wizarding World co-exists alongside the real world for those lucky enough to be able to travel between the two. After all, isn’t that the dream for all those Muggles who aspire to to visit the Wizarding World and maybe learn a little magic along the way?
