Six Flags Great Adventure has confirmed on their social media that they will announce their new for 2020 attraction on August 29th at 5am in the morning. I’d count on this being the day that all of the Six Flags parks come forward to make all their 2020 announcements chain wide, so the countdown begins!

A young girl in Australia just joined an exclusive coaster riding club with the legendary Fabio. She was struck in the face and head by a bird while riding the DC Rivals coaster at Warner Bros. Movieworld and of course her family bought the video of the event from the on-ride camera and posted it to social media. Unlike Fabio who came back covered in blood, the young girl returned to the station with a bruise and a scratch and covered in a few feathers, but more shocked than anything else from the mid-air collision.

Carowinds posted a graphic on their Instagram a few hours ago detailing six new things coming to this year’s SCarowinds Halloween Haunt event. Unfortunately, none of them are for a new actual haunted maze, which means Depths of Darkness that first opened in 2017 will still be the park’s newest maze... for now. According to the official website, they are only listing five haunts for this year's event, and Zombie High School is missing from the list. Hopefully they are working on something new to take over that spot and will announce it as we get closer to Haunt season.
What is new this year will be three all new scare zones (Age of Darkness, Grave Walkers and Outlaw’s Revenge) and three all-new shows (Bone Brigade, Overlord’s Awakening and Overlord’s Revenge).

Universal Orlando released an image a few hours ago to make sure everyone knows that they will be making an ‘EPIC’ announcement on August 1st. This teaser does seem to confirm our hopes that this will be the announcement of the new resort expansion and theme park. The use of the word ‘Epic’ however is also telling, as previously the new park was said to be favoring the name “Fantastic Worlds”, but Warner Bros. was also objecting to the use of this name by Universal. From the sounds of things, I’m guessing they went with Plan B, and are planning to use the rumored ‘Epic Universe” name that was also trademarked, or some other new variation that would include the work ‘Epic’ in the title.

Join me and a few others as we attend the first ever Influencer Day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
This is truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at an amusement park to date thanks to the amazing media team for putting the event on for us YouTubers and Bloggers
There was so much on offer for us throughout the day and too many highlights but the ones that stick in my mind is having a Coaster Crazy named horse on the 60yr old Derby Racer, filming a front row POV on Icon, and seeing Hot Ice for the first time
Also make sure you checkout Coaster Kingdom, Springy Tales and FloRichDa Family Vlogs for more content from the day

The hints from Holiday World have continued a bit, and Coaster Nation has done a good job tracking them. The original claw mark teaser was followed by a Christmas in July video where Santa gives the Splashin’ Safari mascot character, Safari Sam, a gift containing a ton of socks with little Cheetahs on them. The Cheetah, being the fastest of the cats, also matches up with the text hints of the first clue asking people to sign up to the news letter to “be the fastest to know what’s happening in 2020”.
A final clue gives us the date of August 6, 2019, so now we know when the announcement will happen for this new Cheetah themed attraction that seems destined for Splashin’ Safari, but they’ve added one more curious possibility. A “leaked” layout plan found somewhere else seems to show off some kind of new water coaster attraction that would reuse the old splashdown pool and station of the retired Pilgrim’s Plunge attraction. The layout appears to run in reverse this time, splashing down and taking a leisurely turn around back into the station at the end. But since this would be cheetah themed, that seems to imply that the rest of the layout would be all about speed, starting off with a launch through the structure of The Voyage and go west towards Splashin’ Safari for a bunch of high speed turns before returning through The Voyage to make the final splashdown.
Ironically, the most logical possibility right now would be from Intamin who repurposed the elevator style lift system they used on Pigrim’s Plunge to create a new series of water coaster attractions around the world. So far they have made four of them, all added to international markets:” Mirabilandia (Italy - 2012), Xishuangbanna Sunac Land (China - 2015), Land of Legends (Turkey - 2016) and Energylandia (Poland - 2018). Also at the IAAPA 2018, Intamin was also promoting a new evolution of their water coaster concept that would ditch the elevator lift system in favor of a magnetic launch.
August 6th is in a little over a week, so we won't have to wait long to find out.

July 29th, 2019, 22:17 Posted By: wraggster
By the end of Sunday, Kings Island appears to have completed the grouping of 9 posters on the wall, and have indeed spelled out “TEOTWASKI”, which typically stands for “The End Of The World As We Know It.” The latest two posters added are for two more retired park rides: Shooting Star and SkyLab, which also add the states ID (Idaho) and SD (South Dakota) to the list.
So the question is… do we get an entirely new set of clues on Monday, or do we get an announcement, or something else entirely? Or even worse… maybe Kings Island will do nothing and make us sit and wonder for the next several weeks in silence. Make the jump over to Coaster-Nation to see the latest images on the wall.
