Six Flags America has announced that the new floorless FIREBIRD coaster will open to the public on May 17th. They’ve also released a preview POV video of Firebird in action.

First the supposed blueprints for the Spider-Man attraction planned for Paris and California parks leaks online, and now we have a new leak claiming to be the blueprints for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway posted to Twitter.

Join us as we drive to the beautiful Netherlands and visit Slagharen Theme Park for the very first time as part of our week long mega European road trip
Slagharen is a stunning park and it is easily one of the best small scale theme parks especially if you like Wild West and Steampunk theming, the whole park is amazing with a huge amount of family rides including the fantastic Gold Rush Rollercoaster
Unfortunately due to high winds during our visit a few of the rides were closed, however it didn’t ruin our day in fact we had a great time and can not wait to visit again in the future

A website called Outsidears has posted a [COLOR=#1B8EDE !important]graphic[/COLOR] that they are claiming is a blueprint of the new Spider-Man themed attraction Disney is planning on building at Walt Disney Studios Paris and at Disney California Adventure. Looking it over, it looks very similar to the same kind of ride system Disney used for Toy Story Midway Mania, just with larger cars, that will apparently still move in pairs, up and down a series of rows that appear to only contain large [COLOR=#1B8EDE !important]video[/COLOR] game style screens for some interactive game system, rather than a more traditional themed dark ride concept.
According to one rumor, the cars won't be mounted with guns like Toy Story can, but rather they may try to use some kind of motion based gesture system, similar to what the Legoland parks did with their Ninjago dark rides, to allow riders to shoot their own webs at Spider-man villains. A couple of extra renderings showing off what the outside of the attraction building may look like can also be seen here.

Cedar Point has installed a metal detector at Steel Vengeance and is asking guests to remove cell phones and keys from their pockets and put them in a zippered pouch mounted to the train by your legs. Other small objects can also be “secured in cargo pockets” if you are wearing the right clothing.

This little fair is on till the 22nd April (Bank Holiday Monday) and is home to several rides including a brand new Dodgems, Twister, Miami, Waltzer, loads of kids rides and they have a coaster credit......the Mine Train, another classic Supercar Little Dipper

This is always a great fair to visit with it’s long stay duration, £1 rides (Vortex & Dodgems £1.50) all day every day and a huge selection of awesome rides including my favourites such as Philip Scarrott’s beautiful Waltzer, Super Dodgems and the Super Trooper
In this one there are povs from the Roller Ghoster, Waltzer including exclusive footage from inside the operator/cash booth, Super Trooper, Motion Simulator and my favourite Super “Dooper” Dodgems
