According to a few reader reports, Cedar Point closed Steel Vengeance late on Wednesday to begin testing the ride with two-train operations once again all evening. Then early on Thursday morning the park announced on Twitter that Steel Vengeance would be closed all day on Thursday as well. No word yet on if it will reopen on Friday or not, but I'm guessing they had to complete several hundred test cycles with multiple train operations successfully before being allowed to reopen the coaster to run that way with the public onboard. Hopefully they'll give the green light soon and reopen it.

In the latest photo update from Universal Studios Florida posted to OrlandoParkNews, they report that some changing are being made to the queue and lockers at Revenge of the Mummy. Earlier this month I noticed that the old ride Universal Express entrance doors to the left of the main entrance had been closed and walled off for some kind of construction. It turns out they are installing all new guest lockers in here that I suppose will replace the array of lockers outside near the exit of the attraction's gift shop.
It is expected that these new lockers will be the same fingerprint free system that was put to use on the new version of the Incredible Hulk Coaster next door at IOA, where you are asked to scan your park ticket to get the free locker, rather than use a fingerprint. According to the report, Universal may be planning on replacing all the old fingerprint locker systems in the parks with these newer ticket based locker systems one by one. It is also worth mentioning that the lockers at Volcano Bay also don't use fingerprints, but instead use your Tapu-Tapu.

New from Coaster Crazy:
Join us as we check out Dreamland in Margate Kent for the first time this 2018 season and also joined by friends Tom and Stacy
Dreamland has been back open now for a few years and every time we go there is something new to see, Dreamland is going through some major changes with the addition of 9 brand new rides from Zamperla opening later this year one of which is a new Spinning Mouse coaster
Dreamland is also home to the UK’s oldest coaster, The Scenic Railway that opened way back in 1920 but was completely rebuild a few years ago bringing it back to life for many more years to come
I would like to thank the management team for their amazing hospitality in giving me permission to film on the rides and for giving us complimentary wristbands.......no other park has ever done this for us, happy days

The latest update from Europa Park claims that while Fjord Rafting and Koffiekopjes are still closed, crews are working hard to get them reopen as soon as possible. They estimate that this will happen in the "next few weeks".
(5/28/18) A quick update from Europa Park this morning (Monday), as they report that all major park attractions are open now except for Pirates, Fjord Rafting and the Koffiekopjes. Pirates is closed, obviously, after it was destroyed in the fire. Fjord Rafting survived, but the layout runs under bridges and right along building damaged by the fire where debris is dropping into the dry river trough (see photos below). Until the debris is cleared away the Fjord river rapids will be unsafe to operation. Koffiekopjes (a Tea Cups style ride) is closed due to the location of it placed in the plaza where the Pirates ride was, which is currently closed off. It is thought that the Koffiekopjes did survive fairly intact however, and will be able to reopen in the future.
A video taken from the monorail as it passes by the Scandinavia and Batvia area on Sunday morning can be seen below, even as fire crews were still hosing off the site of the old ride structure. Below that, the same Twitter user also caught park guests in an awesome spontaneous moment as a fire truck and crew were moving through an open section of the park (likely going home after the long night) and getting a round of applause from some guests as they passed. Well done!
For those wondering about the damage to Piraten in Batvia... make sure to scroll down to the very end of today's update below the videos to see a single photos taken inside what's left of the attraction. You can make out the remains of an animatronic skeleton in the foreground, but see that virtually everything else inside has been totally gutted by the fire.

Now that Pandora: The World of Avatar has been open for a year, Disney and More has gone back to look at a few items that were designed for Pandora, but were never built. Things that were cut either as part of the budget trimming process, or deemed unfeasible due build in the amount of time being allowed for the project.

I'm not saying this is true yet, but we have been sent a warning the crews trying to finish up Toy Story Land have been struggling with some issues... issues that just might cause some items to not be ready in time for opening day. Again... nothing specific was mentioned, only that there is a little nail-biting going on as they push into the final month of construction and try to finish it all on-time. Stay tuned!

According to BlooLoop, Six Flags has announced that a 4th park will be part of the Nanjing complex to be called Six Flags Kids World. The Kids World section will open in the first phase of the project, expected to open in 2021 and is expected to feature attractions developed for "younger thrill-seekers" along with scaled down versions of some of the chain's bigger rides. There will also be some education based entertainment involving math and science as well as physical fitness.
The other three Six Flags parks in Nanjing will be a regular Six Flags theme park, a Six Flags branded waterpark and something new called "Six Flags Adventure Park". As previously mentioned, this new concept will feature attractions like rock climbing and ziplines along with whitewater rafting and motocross bike races.
