Pleasure Island Family Theme Park was located in Cleethorpes and opened back in 1993. The park featured a fantastic variety of family & thrill attractions mixed in with two brilliant dark rides and many shows. From 1993-2009 the park was owned by the same family that own Flamingo Land in North Yorkshire. In 2010 the park separated from the Flamingo Land group meaning it had to operate without a major investor. Over the years many rides came and went, with Pleasure Island having many busy seasons. After declining numbers for a few years, at the end of the 2016 season it was announced that the park would not re-open for the 2017 season. Throughout 2017 many rides were removed and sold to other theme parks around the world. In March 2018 Pleasure Island held an auction to sell off various theming elements and the remainder of rides from the park.The day of the auction allowed for us to walk around the abandoned Pleasure Island Theme Park for the first time since it closed. It also meant we could film this video from both inside and outside the park for our YouTube channel.To see a video of the park operating, check out our vlog from 2016 here:

Heres a new vlog from Coaster Crazy:
In this one we visit yet another new park and on the same day we visited Dudley Zoological Gardens, this time located at Sandwell Country Park in West Bromwich England UKThe country park is home to plenty of attractions including Swan boats, bike hire, children’s adventure play area, bmx track, land train and Sandwell Valley Amusements that’s open throughout the year and home to another Caterpillar coaster

Join us as we check out the unique Dudley Zoological Gardens for the first time including Dudley Castle, a 1950’s chair lift and a small amusement park The zoo is located in Dudley West Midlands England UK offering stunning views from the top of the Castle on the hill with most of the animal exhibits dotted around the edge including Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Sea lions, Birds and much more The zoo originally opened way back in 1937 around the grounds of Dudley Castle that was built sometime in the 11th century, the zoo also has grade 1 listed Art Deco animal enclosures built in the 1930’s

The Theme Park that was on my doorstep now has a documentary thanks to TPW:
The American Adventure Theme Park opened in Ilkeston, Derbyshire in 1987 and throughout this documentary we look back through the history of what was one of the most popular theme parks in the UK. We share the story of how a theme park that was once home to millions of visitors struggled to survive and now sits empty.We look back through the development of the park in the early years thanks to home footage captured during peoples visits. I share my fond memories of the park and visit for one final time before the bulldozers come in. We share an insight into the future plans for the site, along with looking back on our favourite memories of The American Adventure Theme Park. This documentary wouldn't of been possible without the fantastic home video footage captured by the many visitors to the park over the years. A full list of YouTube channels with full length videos from The American Adventure can be found in the end credits of this documentary. This footage was used under the YouTube fair use policy for educational purposes. I'd highly recommend visiting these channels to watch the full individual videos.

Theme Park Worldwide have posted a new vlog for Drayton Manor Theme Park:
We visit Drayton Manor for the first time in 2018 and check out all of the changes across the park for this season. This includes the re-opening of a popular ride and the removal of an old attraction at the park. We check out the latest construction taking place on Sheriff Showdown, the re-themed Wild West Shoot Out that's set to open in the coming weeks. Along with all of that we share plenty of off ride footage from all of our favourite attractions across the park and much more.We also walk through Thomas Land as it celebrates 10 years since the area first opened at Drayton Manor!

Fantasy Island located in Ingoldmells, Skegness is home to a fantastic variety of both thrill and family attractions and in this vlog we return to the park to experience them! We share on ride footage from many of the rides at the park including both The Odyssey and Millennium roller coasters along with many of the other rides. We check out the changes across Fantasy Island for 2018 including the addition of Magic and Frisbee, 2 exciting new flat rides at the park.Along with all of that I share plenty of footage of the rides in action, give my thoughts on the new additions and changes across the park and much more!

We visit the West Midland Safari Park to see the exciting new additions for 2018. Along with the fantastic drive through safari, we experience the new Ice Age walk through that features great theming and realistic animatronic dinosaurs. We also visit the theme park and experience a wide variety of the attractions on offer. This includes rides such as the Rhino Coaster, Twister, Kong and The Black Fly! We also take a walk through The Land Of The Living Dinosaurs, visit the goats over in the farm and much more in this action packed vlog from the West Midland Safari Park!

Details about a new Marvel hero themed live action show coming to the Walt Disney Studios inside the former Cinemagique theater can be found over at Disney & More this week. They've got tons of art to see, but in short it sounds like the new show will feature Spider-Man, Black Panther, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Dr. Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy and will be called Marvel: Super Heroes United. The new show will run from June 10 through Sept. 30, 2018.

I'm told that Drayton Manor will open their new 4D theater film, "Ice Age: No Time For Nuts" on March 28, 2018. You can read a few more details about the new film over at ThemeParks-UK.
