With “Ant-Man and The Wasp” hitting theaters this summer, a special sneak peek is coming to Disneyland Park for a limited time.
From June 8 – July 15, guests can see an advance look at scenes from “Ant-Man and The Wasp” at the Tomorrowland Theater, ahead of the film’s summer release.
“Ant-Man and The Wasp” brings a new chapter for Scott Lang. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Lang struggles with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he attempts to balance his responsibilities as Ant-Man with his home life, Dr. Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne confront him with a new mission. Lang must don his suit once again and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as they work together to uncover secrets of the past.
“Ant-Man and The Wasp” buzzes into theaters on July 6. Check out the trailer for the new Marvel Studios film below:

Some news from Universal Orlando:
T2 3-D: Battle Across Time opened in April 1996 and closed this past October. For guests and park employees familiar with the attraction, it was inevitable. Will a Jason Bourne show replace it?
Disclaimer: Unless where otherwise noted, the following is rumor and speculation, and should not be regarded as fact unless confirmed by the companies mentioned.
The history of Terminator 2 3-D is fascinating. Production of the show involved James Cameron and Stan Winston, as well as the original actors from “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”, shooting a 12-minute film that cost $24 million! T2 3-D’s final days were rough, although that’s not unusual for older theme park attractions in need of refurbishment.
Previous rumors pointed to AMC’s “The Walking Dead” as a potential replacement for T2 3-D, but things have changed. An action show based on the Jason Bourne film series is rumored to replace T2 3-D. It would seem more Bourne movies are intended to happen, although the specifics are unknown at this time. At the very least, there is plenty of material for Universal Creative to draw from to take guests through fighting sequences, car chases and the like.
Whether or not Matt Damon will play Jason Bourne in the show footage and it’ll actually be shot overseas is not known, but I’m certain Universal Creative intends to do both. A potential opening window could be anywhere between this fall to summer 2019, and I suspect t it’ll be closer to the latter.
I expect more details and a proper announcement to emerge by the end of this summer, although this is assuming Universal Creative don’t hit any snags and change the concept.

New from TPW
Join us as we head to Scarborough for a visit to the North Bay Railway and the Sea Life Centre. We take a ride on this 20 inch gauge railway on board one of the oldest seaside miniature railways in the country. We start our vlog in picturesque Peasholm Park, where one of the newer locomotives takes us through parkland, past the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, and out on to the Scarborough coastline. We then exit the train at Scalby Mills Station and visit the Sea Life Centre along with checking out the remains from an old cable car attraction that used to be in the same area.
We then head into Scarborough and check out the construction taking place a new indoor theme park set to open on the sea front in the coming years. Along with this we discover a different kind of ride in the harbour and much more!

Disney has officially confirmed that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open to guests for "Summer 2019". As I had been saying for some time now however, Walt Disney World wont be so lucky and the official date for the Floirda version is listed as "Late Fall 2019"... which essentially sounds a lot like the week of Thanksgiving at this point. Either way, they'll be opening these new additions just in time for the most crowded peak-seasons for each resort, so expect lines, crowds and more lines.

Is Universal looking into the possibility of building a SciFi themed land themed around Star Trek universe? In a previous update, we too had mentioned that Universal was looking into using Star Trek as a possible theme for whatever attraction might replace the former T2/3D attraction, but according to Disney & More, they could be eying Trek to play a much bigger role instead.
The concept makes sense, as Star Trek is perfectly poised as the other huge popular SciFi series that could act as a serious counter to Disney's push to bring the Star Wars universe to life. What better way than to excite all the Trekkies out there into a frenzy by building an entire Star Trek themed land as part of the next theme park. Just imagine the legions of Trek fans coming out in droves alongside the Potter fans to Universal Orlando.
Disney & More pushes the concept speculation even further by revisiting ancient plans once made for Las Vegas that would have involved building a huge casino themed to look like the starship Enterprise itself docked on the strip. Hmmm.... Disney is planning a Star Wars themed hotel... but what if you could spend the night inside the Enterprise? Temping... so very tempting...

New from TPW
Join Shawn & Martin as we visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the media launch of ICON, the first double launch coaster in the UK. After much anticipation, Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s new £16.25M roller coaster ICON finally opens to the public this Friday 25th May. After 5 years of planning and nearly 2 years since the project was announced to the public, the UK’s first ever double launch roller coaster is ready to offer guests to the park a unique and thrilling new experience.
ICON launches visitors on an exhilarating journey where they will feel the same acceleration as a Formula 1 driver before twisting and turning at high speeds across the park, interacting with other rides. A second boost of speed will then launch riders to heights of 88.5ft, with drops of up to 82ft, giving even the bravest of thrill seekers an unforgettable ride.
As riders head towards ICON’s imposing ride station, they will head through a stunning set of Japanese inspired gates and down landscaped pathways. This journey is accompanied by ICON’s original and dramatic soundtrack which builds anticipation for the ride.
