Who’s ready for a look at the slick coaster trains loaded and ready to rock on the Jurassic World VelociCoaster? Universal has released a fantastic little video teaser of the trains, complete with some cool lighting on the front car and head-rests that you can see below. Below that the ECC Twitter has posted a small collection of still photos of the trains set up in one of the launch tunnels that will allow you to gaze at them in anticipation.
The detail here is just very slick and cool, and be sure to note the impressive claw gash across the front left of the train’s lead car that has also removed a little bit of the lighted grill. As I said… very nice detail on this thing! Now let us just hope that Universal and Intamin were able to work together to make these trains accommodating for the most number of riders possible. I know the cars Intamin made for Gringotts have terrible restraints that are overly restrictive for those with long legs and those with plus-sized middle sections, but then I also found the restraints on Hagrid’s to be much more comfortable and accommodating to riders of size.

November 30th, 2020, 21:19 Posted By: wraggster
Universal Studios Japan has announced it will open its Super Nintendo World attraction on February 4, following its delay earlier this year.
The area is built within the Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka, as was due to open earlier this year in time for the Summer 2020 Olympics.
But the impact of the coronavirus pandemic led to the closure of all theme parks, and delayed construction, pushing its debut back to Spring 2021. That debut has now been nailed down as February 4.
However, Bloomberg notes that the launch could still be delayed again as Japan tackles another outbreak of COVID-19 and Osaka has become one of the worst-affected cities.
In a short video from inside the park itself, Bloomberg reporter Kurumi Mori said there are still questions as to how Universal Studios is going to prevent the spread of the virus.
The new Nintendo area is said to be quite small, and the central ride -- a Mario Kart rollercoaster -- utilises AR headsets, which would presumably need to be sanitised.

Disney released a little more information regarding the in progress transformation of Epcot. One interesting factoid is that once complete the park will be divided into four lands instead of two. While the existing World Showcase area will remain as a land to itself, the area previously known as Future World will now be divided into three mini lands: World Discovery, World Celebration and World Nature.
The side of Future World that will contain the new Guardians of the Galaxy coaster along with the existing Test Track and Mission Space will become World Discovery. The opposite side of Future World that contains The Living Seas and The Land / Soarin’ will become World Nature. This leaves the old central corridor of Future World, once known as CommniCore area, with Spaceship Earth and it looks like the Imagination pavilion is included here as well will become World Celebration.
